A southern girl, Ann Henson was born and raised in Northern Kentucky. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she began modeling at the age of 12 which eventually lead to appearances in local commercials. Although Ann took on a full time job in the insurance and banking industry and started a family of her own, she never gave up on her dream of moving to California and acting.
Her dream became a reality in 2004 when she was scouted by an LA based agency. Ann was flown to Los Angeles to meet with agents and managers and was immediately signed. Starting work right away, Ann began fit modeling for major clothing companies, appeared on the cover of Hot Boat Magazine and is a model for Got2B hair products. She has also appeared in commercials for Hallmark Channel and NFL Network. Ann then made her film debut as the lead in LIONSGATE’s ‘Alive or Dead”.
As she built a foundation in entertainment, Ann’s natural disposition to hospitality found her working with organizations like American Heart Association, raising over $4000 and running in the Train to End Stroke Marathon. At a young age, she started donating her time to helping homeless shelters and got involved in multiple programs to help lower income families and schools. Ann is also proactive in being green to help preserve the planet.
